New voices in our politics for new vision in our policies. Working to create lasting and equitable change that we see in our community and feel in our homes.
Hartford is my home. I grew up in our public schools and have spent my career working alongside local organizations to support our community. From frontline crisis response to building programs for youth and families, and now in restorative justice, my work has always been centered on listening to those most impacted by inequity and making sure their voices shape the decisions that affect them.
I’m proud to call Vermont home, and I’m committed to protecting and strengthening what makes this community special. I’m running for those carrying the heaviest burden from our broken systems, for the generations who will be living with the impact of our decisions today, and the planet that deserves to thrive again.
ABOUT ME
Why I’m running
“If it is true that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, isn’t it also true a society is only as healthy as its sickest citizen and only as wealthy as its most deprived?”
Hartford is my hometown, and a place I’m proud to be raising my own child. I care deeply about this community, but I feel increasingly concerned about the challenges we’re up against today. While living amidst crisis and conflict isn’t new, the severity and frequency that we’re experiencing today does feel unique. The burden of our broken systems is only getting heavier on those already most impacted, while so many of the root causes creating these problems remain unaddressed.
We are at a critical moment as a society, and I think it is a moment more important than ever to have leadership that reflects our communities more fully and who understand these challenges firsthand. Better solutions for our communities stems from having better representation of that community in politics.
Priorities I’ll be fighting for
